In order to participate in the assignment for Unit 3 of MUS 250 (i.e. the Eurovision unit), you must first join this wiki. There are
a few easy steps to complete:
Step 1
First, you need to create an account at Wikispaces. Up in the right hand corner of this browser window, you will see a "Join" option. Click on it and folow the instructions. For your username, you must use your real name, and you should enter it in the format of "First_Last" with both first and last names capitalized, and an underscore separating them (spaces will not work). We have to be picky about name formats given the number of students in the class and the need for efficiency in managing the assignment. If you do not follow this format, we will ask you to change your username.
If you picked the "wrong" user name, the easiest way to change it to the proper format ("First_Last") is to send an email to help@wikispaces.com and ask them to change your user name from first_last (or whatever) to First_Last.
To repeat, it is: "First_Last" not "first_last" or "last_first" or "stargazer2009"...
Step 2
Once you've got your account (Step 1), then navigate your browser back here: mus250_home
In the nav bar in the left margin, right under the mus250 logo is a list of actions, and the first choice is Join This Wiki... click it!
(you won't see it until you make your account - Step 1) You'll get another button that says Request Membership... click it!
That's it! We have to manually "approve" you, which should take less than 24 hours, and then you can edit the page associated with the Eurovision participating country you have been assigned.
